Timeline of our partnership


Rouse connects its sites using an IPsec VPN which it found to be a much more cost-effective approach than MPLS. We offer full support for this network.

Rouse was our first managed service customer at Ideal. We’ve had a five-year relationship, and throughout that time we have supported the company's IPsec VPN with a follow-the-sun support contract, which means that its own follow-the-sun operation is always supported.


We provided Rouse with a global LAN upgrade – we refreshed the network's core and access layers. This upgrade went without a hitch – Rouse is very happy with the outcome.


We delivered a telephony refresh, and a co-location hosted data centre refresh. This will deliver resilience for Rouse and will also help it save money, as it will no longer be paying for hosting or consumpion on site.

The Ideal experience

We have proved our willingness to go above and beyond. For example in 2014, we helped Rouse to find a reliable and effective Russian partner to deliver onsite networking, security and connection to the WAN at their new Moscow office with just a week’s notice. We didn’t mind taking the call at 1am to help with this challenge: that’s all part of the Ideal experience.
