Ideal, experts in network, security, collaborations and platforms announces it's further investment in Data Centre and Cloud expertise to strengthen their Infrastructure capabilities.

Ideal is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Gingell to the post of Infrastructure Solutions Architect. Neil brings a healthy mix of both data centre and Cloud experience to the team and will work closely with our Cloud Experts to deliver innovative platform solutions to our customers.

Take a look a look at our infographic to understand the benefits of HCI and how Cisco HyperFlex can deliver real business benefits.

Neil joins Ideal with over 10 years previous experience in infrastructure projects and a strong background in financial services. In recent years Neil has been involved in a number of greenfield data centre designs, hybrid cloud platform design and large-scale migrations across a broad range of technologies.

Commenting on his appointment, Neil said “I’m pleased to be part of an organisation I’ve followed closely for some time now. Since joining, I can see how the company has gone from strength to strength and continues to be trusted by high-profile customers to deliver exciting technology ventures”.

Neil sees the data centre landscape becoming more service oriented, be it services built internally and delivered back to the business or consumed directly from a partner. The introduction of HCI solutions enable scale at any size and allow for incremental change to react to ever-changing demands wherever these services reside.

Solutions Director, Mick McLean said: "We’re thrilled to have Neil on the team and I’m looking forward to working with him directly. He brings a wealth of Infrastructure experience in emerging technologies such as automation, hyperconverged and software defined solutions, coupled with a pragmatic, business focused approach."
