Our Support Engineers work as part of the highly skilled Ideal Service Centre Team to deliver exceptional support services to our customers. 

What you'll be doing

  • In depth troubleshooting activities
  • Investigating and resolving issues for our customer’s network and IT estates
  • Managing support cases to enable fast resolution for our customers
  • Ensuring all cases are recorded accurately and closed within agreed timeframes
  • Sharing knowledge across the team to ensure and enable best practices
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre
  • Delivering all projects to the highest possible standard

Required skills and experience

  • CCNA R&S Qualified
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience resolving technical problems
  • Specialised in supporting Cisco architectures
  • Accurate in both written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility to cover shifts during periods of sickness or annual leave

Optional (but useful) skills

  • UK Driving Licence
  • CCNP R&S (or working towards it)
  • ITIL Qualification
